In light of the recent Jon and Kate announcement, I am of the opinion if they don't know what is best for the kids, maybe we, the American TLC-watching public, should tell them by not watching the show any longer.
As someone who has spent the last year going through a heart-wrenching divorce and custody battle, I can say with absolute certainty Jon and Kate need to AT LEAST give it a go as a "normal" family again without the stress and burden of a television crew. Is it really that complicated? Grow up, get some great marriage counseling, and be a family. Divorce may seem like the easiest option now, but I assure you, you will be trading one set of problems for a BIGGER set of problems! That is for sure.
It is completely irresponsible for TLC to continue this show and USE this family's time of crisis to obtain ratings. Completely apprehensible.
Who will advocate for this family????
